KONTEXT

Die Groupe scolaire Eugene Petitot befindet sich in einem ganz besonderen städtischen Kontext in Hauts de Puteaux. Dieser Stadtteil und insbesondere das Schulgrundstück befinden sich an der Schnittstelle verschiedener städtischer Gewebetypologien: die Wolkentürme des Architekten Emile Aillaud, die Wohnviertel Les Rosiers und Carré Vert, die relativ nahe und gegenwärtige Landschaft von La Défense und natürlich das neue, sich entwickelnde Ecoquartier des Bergères.

CONTEXTE
Le Groupe scolaire Eugene Petitot se situe dans un contexte urbain très particulier des Hauts de Puteaux. Ce quartier, et plus spécifiquement la parcelle de l’école, se trouvent à la jonction entre différentes typologies de tissu urbains : les tours nuages de l’architecte Emile Aillaud, les quartiers résidentiels des Rosiers et du Carré Vert, le paysage relativement proche et présent de la Défense, et bien entendu le nouvel Ecoquartier des Bergères en plein développement.
L’ÉCOLE - VILLAGE
Dans ce cadre urbain de densité relativement verticale et de grande échelle, notre parti-pris est celui d’un équipement à échelle humaine, protecteur et familier.

CONTEXT
The Eugene Petitot school is located in a very special urban context in the Hauts de Puteaux district. The district, and more specifically the school's plot, lies at the junction between different types of urban fabric: the cloud towers designed by the architect Emile Aillaud, the residential districts of Les Rosiers and Carré Vert, the relativly close and present landscape of La Défense, and of course the new Ecoquartier des Bergères in full development.

In this urban setting of relatively vertical density and large scale, our approach is to create a facility on a human scale, protective and familiar.
